Refund Eligibility

We accept refund requests for products purchased from ScribeJoie within 30 days of delivery, provided the items meet the following conditions:

  • Unused, unopened, and in original packaging with all tags/labels attached
  • Damaged or defective items (must include photographic evidence)
  • Incorrect items received (must specify order discrepancy)

Note: Customized/personalized products and perishable goods (like certain adhesives) are non-refundable unless defective.

Refund Process

  1. Contact our support team at [email protected] within the eligible period
  2. Include your order number, product details, and reason for refund
  3. For damaged/incorrect items, attach clear photos showing the issue
  4. Wait for our response with return instructions (typically within 2 business days)
  5. Ship items back using the provided instructions (customer responsible for return shipping unless our error)

Refund Methods & Timing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned items. The exact timing depends on your financial institution.

For exchanges: We'll ship replacement items once the return is approved, at no additional cost if the exchange is due to our error.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Items damaged due to customer misuse or improper storage
  • Opened consumable products (inks, adhesives, etc.) unless defective
  • Products purchased more than 30 days prior
  • Final sale or clearance items (marked as such on product page)

Damaged/Missing Items in Transit

If your order arrives with visible shipping damage or missing components:

  1. Do not discard any packaging materials
  2. Take photos of the damaged items and packaging
  3. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected]

We'll arrange for replacement or refund after verification.

Special Considerations for Art Supplies

Due to the sensitive nature of art materials:

  • Paints, brushes, and canvases must be returned in original sealed condition
  • Opened tubes of paint or used brushes cannot be accepted for hygiene reasons
  • Specialty papers may only be returned if unused and in original protective packaging
